I found a broken chair a couple of weeks ago and brought it home.
I painted it a bright "Cherry Red" and turned it into a 4th of July garden chair.
It's bed is lined with moss. It was a lot of fun to make and I love the
way it turned out.
American flags, fireworks, parades, baseball, and apple pie,
really sum up this American holiday.
It's a good day to be thankful for all we have
and ask for God to continue to
bless our country.
Happy 4th of July to you all!!!
God Bless You!
And enjoy my favorite part....
the fireworks!!!!
Yay, for The Fourth. A lovely post and your chair is so sweet, how cleaver to use the chair for a planter.
ReplyDeleteI too pray that God continues to bless the USA!
Love that chair Chris, great idea! I'm also very impressed with that picture of all the flags, nice effects. We will be missing the 4th since we'll be flying to Europe then: Yes!!! We will also be going to Starnberg (just South of Munich) to show the kids where they were born... :-)
ReplyDeleteOh, the 4th of july must be a very great day in America! We have a national holiday in Germany on October 3, but there is not so much celebrated
ReplyDeleteBig Hugs,
Yvonne
have a fun 4th...picture of the chair is very cute.
ReplyDeleteHappy Fourth of July to you too! I hope you are pleased - I just added a Stars and Stripes to my red, white and blue display for July, thinking of all my American friends, and my own experiences there as a small ex-pat in 1976 (of all years)! I love your chair display - now I shall be eyeing up the battered chair in Son 2's room...
ReplyDeleteI adore your chair...pure joy!
ReplyDeleteHappy July 4th to you. xoxo
(Belated) Happy 4th of July to you! I loved seeing your chair and other decorations, and the fireworks...what a great time!
